Small groups in a break-out room with whoever wants an intro! If you want phone 7 “remedial” training this is your opportunity! Go through the basics of things like creating an app/navigation handing input/events, etc…or... option #2 - if you are working on an app, bring it to the meeting and work on it for an hour or so with a room full of folks that might be able to help you on your questions.

Getting into game development isn't as hard as you think and can be a lot of fun. In this session Bill Reiss will discuss what options are available for developing games on Windows Phone Mango and what determining factors there are on using one over another. Bill will also cover common libraries that are available to all game developers on Windows Phone, and there will be plenty of code samples.

Biography:

MVP Bill Reiss started developing software in the early 1980's and started selling freelance games in high school. Because of his dedication to sharing game development tutorials with the community and participation in the XNA forums, he was awarded Microsoft MVP in XNA in April 2007. He now develops games and continues to write tutorials for XNA and Silverlight game development.
